What is U-CAN? U-CAN is an effort by private colleges and universities to make sure that you have the information you need to learn more about what makes institutions unique, and which is the perfect fit for you. U-CAN is a project of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU). What does U-CAN do? U-CAN displays, in a common format, important information on admissions, the student body, cost and tuition, student aid, graduation rates, and campus life. What makes U-CAN special? Each U-CAN profile contains nearly two dozen targeted links to institutional Websites. That means that if you don't see the information you want on a page, just click the link to learn more directly from the institution itself. What does U-CAN cost? There is no cost to use U-CAN, nor is there a fee for institutions to participate. U-CAN does not accept any advertisements or sponsorships. Where does the info come from? The information in U-CAN is entered directly by each institution. NAICU does not verify the data, but relies on institutions to provide the most accurate and useful information possible. |
