Gonzaga University, founded in 1887, is a private, four-year comprehensive university. Gonzaga's Jesuit educational philosophy is based on the 465-year Ignatian model that aims to educate the whole person -- mind, body and spirit -- an integration of science and art, faith and reason, action and contemplation. Gonzaga has 92 undergraduate academic fields of study and 27 graduate programs including law. Located in Spokane, Washington, GU enrolls about 6,800 students.
