About Benedictine University
Benedictine University was founded by the monks of St. Procopius Abbey in 1887. Today, Benedictine enrolls more than 4,000 students at campuses throughout Illinois in Lisle, Naperville, Bellwood and Springfield. Benedictine is a Catholic university in the Benedictine tradition that provides a values-centered liberal arts education enriched by our excellence in science. Benedictine offers 47 traditional and adult accelerated undergraduate, 11 graduate and two doctorate degree programs through five academic colleges.
